Recorded voice wont work

hi - got tomtom go mobile installed on my samsung s8, all is well working fine, but i can only download and use computer spoken voice , such as "serena" but when i try to use a recorded voice like "jane" i get a message "the voice is not fully compatible with current units (miles/yards)"....it works fine with just "kilometers" but i prefer miles/yards..any ideas why tahnks

    You want miles/yards you have to pick Samantha, Bonnie or Lori.

    These are the ones that understand miles/yards
    They are American voices.

    English voices only work with "kilometers"

    Just tested it......:)

    ok thankyou..im olds school..use to miles and yards...looks like im stuck with serena...duh ! thanks...would have been nice to hear jane as its a default english voice..i was use to it on my standalone tomtom..lol
