Phone and watch giving different numbers!

When I synch watch and phone, the numbers are different - so currently phone app shows 8,208 steps and watch is 6105. I have resynched several times, reinstalled the app but still no alignment- any ideas? Many thanks

    Welcome to the Community and sorry for my late reply here!

    Did you perhaps factory reset your watch at some point? That would've reset the step count on your watch and could explain this.

    Thanks for reply- no factory reset - the watch and app always out of synch with app showing higher.. I think it must be faulty?
