Not syncing with app- TomTom RUNNER

My tomtom runner watch connects via bluetooth to my telephone and starts syncing. However, when the syncing progress bar on the app reaches 8% the watch shows the TomTom logo on its screen and the syncing ends. I hope someone can advise the best way to ensure that syncing can proceed as per useal again. Thank you.

Welcome to the Community and sorry for my late reply!
Sounds like something might be wrong with the installation of the app. I'd recommend you to reinstall it.
Could you also state your phone model and OS version, please?

The bluetooth-issue is well known at Tomtom, but there seems no solution. My phone looses connection with the watch and several uninstalls and installs won't help. This is a software-matter that tomtom doesn't fix. I'll switch to Garmin if the problem isn't solved.0
