My multisport does not activate the "Heart rate" functions

Hi I have a multi sport that has been with me several years. Lately both on running and cycling the "hart rate" does not start before beeing active more than 30 minuttes.
I have run "Reset" several times and cleaned the back of the watch, but same thing happends.

Any have an ide what this is and what I can do to fix it

    It is possible the sensor is failing. You should call Customer Support who can look into it, but you are far out of warranty so there are limits to what they can do. To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
