Toyota Eclipse - No Phone Audio with iPhone iOS 10.2

Please help.

My TOMTOM won't receive or send audio when receiving a phone call with a linked iPhone.

The sound works fine if I initiate the call, or if the call is active when I turn on the car/TOMTOM, but if I receive a phone call, there is no audio for myself or the caller. If I change my audio settings on my phone to phone then back to TOMTOM, the audio then works fine (easy when stationary, but this is not tenable when driving).

I have updated the iPhone and the TOMTOM Software to the most recent available, but the problem persists.

I would be VERY GRATEFUL if anyone could help. I can only imagine this must be affecting others, but cannot find a solution anywhere on the net or in the forums.

    Hi AJ,

    Welcome to the Community and sorry for my late reply here!

    The Toyota Eclipse is a rather old model for which software updates haven't been released in years any more. I'm afraid, it won't support the new phones and you might indeed run into various issue with such combinations.
