Map Update Failure on the Start 60 device

When I took an update for my start 60, my maps disappeared into the ether. I now get a notice saying no maps found. As I didn't do a back up for my device and am way past my "warranty" period, will I be able to download a new map onto my device? Davey Boy.

    Also, try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

    Clear the cache in MyDriveConnect's Settings (right click tomtom icon in notification area of computer screen to get to Settings. Or click on the country flag in MDC screen) and see if map is offered again.
