hello,
would love to replace my GoPro's with Bandits and already bought one bandit however most of my filming is vehicle-based with a camera on the roof. Iy seems like there is no way to switch the camera on/off via the iPhone app similar to the GoPro? That's really missing can you please implement this.

Hi. well ... can't say regarding the iPhone app but the Android version has that feature, no problem ...
Kindly,

hi, maybe I'm blind where is the option in Android app? I'm on iOS though0

HI, in the view finder part of the app I just use the video camper symbol.0

hello, I think you misunderstood, yes I can start and stop the filming however I can not switch the camera itself ON and OFF to conserve battery on a full day of driving. The GoPro I can switch on/off via the app the TomTom needs to be switched on the whole time.
Even if the GoPro is switched off WiFi is working and can switch the camera back on.0 -
There is no way to turn the camera on using Wifi or the remote control, it is possible to turn the camera off using the remote0
-
sorry is there a way to turn it on/off via the remote?0
-
Only turn it off. The remote will not turn the Bandit on0

thanks, that’s a pity0
