Landrover Discovery 4 - Satnav System - Aus Model - Change maps to UK

Hi there, I have a 2014 LR Disco 4 that we bought from Australia to the UK with us (big mistake!!). Anyhow, after much backwards and forwards from LR in the UK they have now advised is that they cannot update the sat nav system (completely different system apparently to that here in the UK) and told us to contact LR in Australia. LR Australia then put us onto whereis.com which eventually led us to tomtom. So it seems tomtom provide the satnav system for Australian Landrover cars.

Thus my question - does anyone know how we can update / change out the maps on our Aus built in sat nav system to Europe / UK maps? Landrover cannot do this without changing out the system completely.

I'm not au fait with these sorts of things so if anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum!

    I don't think your navigation devices is a TomTom product. In case it uses our maps you can check for updates at http://www.navmapstore.com/

    Thanks Mikko, I contacted them via email two days ago and tried calling them today but I still have no response. Is there someone in the UK that I can talk to?

    Hi there, does anyone know what to do in this instance. I have just imported my Discovery 4 from UK to Australia and being quoted $5k for a new sat nav unit (after having been sold a Australia region update DVD!!). There must be another way surely?
