Wifi Connection issue TomTom Pro 620

Recently had a home WIfi connection problem so in an attempt to resolve it I was asked by tech support to reset my phone settings and realised this made my tomtom "lose" the phone. Since then despite uninstalling and reinstalling MyDrive and several repairings I can get traffic but not wifi through my phone. Messages and calls appear to be ok too but I can only do updates when the unit is in the house.

When I go to my available wifi connections my phone is listed but it asks me for a password but I don't know what password it is asking for? I've tried entering the wifi password but that doesn't work. Any suggestions? (Yes I have tried with both just Bluetooth and hotspot on, no dice.)

    Could you start with a soft reset and then try connecting to your mobile hotspot?



    If that does not help, then I would follow up with a factory reset-

    Main menu- Settings-System- Reset
