I have just been on a live chat with tomtom customer services and they have told me that there is a 4g built in sim card in my go 6200 but from seeing other posts and threads on the forums it seems like people are saying the sim is 2g so now not sure what is truth and who to really beleive?

    Hi
    @b4u2
    As far as I'm aware, right from the launch of the NAV4 GO5000 though to Wi-Fi Connected GO Premium....
    The built in GPRS SIM is definitely 2G....

    If 2g is no longer available, you can continue to receive traffic via your smartphone.

    Yes the GO 6200 has a Sim card but if 2g is no longer available your GO can connect to a smartphone.

    2G is already 'Rolled out' it was 'Rolled out' with the 1st Mobile Phones... 2G is being Phased out/Shut down....
    Your GO 6200 will receive Tomtom Traffic using a Smartphone + Bluetooth....
    Or maybe over Wi-Fi with a portable/mobile Mi-Fi device....

    See: https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013957479-GET-CONNECTED-TO-TOMTOM-SERVICES
    Pairing with the smartphone should take when possible without WIFI connection, because this has priority over Bluetooth or internal Sim
