WiFi: Connected. No internet

My TomTom Discover Go Premium has an astablished WiFi connection. However the status line says "Connected. No internet". What exactly means "no internet" although the device is connected by Wifi and the router has a successful internet connection?
If I try to log on to MyDrive there is the following message: "We have problems to access TomTom services. Try again later". It is like that for several hours.
