Hi I can't update the maps on my Go5000.

I downloaded the maps and then the pc screen says updating device and that's as far as it gets. I had it running for most of the day yesterday. I then tried it on a different PC with the same results. It's been running for 6 hours or so. The screen on the satnav says connected. Thx

    Hi Thank you for the quick response. I've solved it. The memory card was full. By deleting the old maps the update went ahead. The issue was the message saying it was updating. It would have been more useful if it had said memory full update not possible - or something similar.

    Welcome to the community!
    I see your GO 5000 already has the latest map Europe with UK and ROI v10.95.

    Could you try deleting the HOME3-

    1. Disconnect the device from the computer.
    2. Exit/Quit MyDrive Connect from the notification area
    3. Delete HOME3 folder located at

    MacOS: Users\"Your username"\Library\Application Support\TomTom\
    Windows - C:\Users\"Your username"\AppData\Local\TomTom

    4. Soft reset the device and connect to the computer again.
