Cant connect Start 52 to my drive connect!

Can anyone help me i've tried for hours to connect the start 52 to MyDrive Connect and never get it added. The error message is it isn't possible to add your device please try again. I've tried every thing possible even changed the compatibility of the app incase it didn't like windows 11 but no joy! I've search high and low for answers and tried everything I found but getting nowhere and its driving me crazy!! Any help would be much appreciated I'm trying to update the maps for a relative and i'm leaving them tomorrow!

    did you do factory reset or try different computer

    no but I will try that thanks. Sorry for the delay ended up taken it home with me as it was driving me crazy! lol
