I have a TOMTOM 6000 when the battery is empty and the TT is connected to the power supply, it still shuts down, unlike the site which states that it continues to operate on the power supply.
Not very handy when you are navigating, after starting up it almost switches off because the battery is empty.

    Hi @ReneM1
That sounds like a depleted battery issue. How long does the device stay ON if you charge it using the TomTom supplied cable for around 2-3 hours?

    Regards,
    Vikram.

Personally, I have the impression that the TomTom draws more steam than the battery and frame supply.
The double charger does make the TomTom last longer than the standard charger.
When it has been charged for 2 to 3 hours, the TomTom stays on for an average of 2 to 3 hours.
My father has the same TomTom with the same problems, and it also switches off with the same double TomTom charger.
