Paid for annual update but is not installed TomTom Mazda NB1 navigation

I have been using the TomTom Mazda NB1 navigation system in my Mazda CX5 since 2013. When starting an update I got the annual message "Newer versions of your map are available". After paying for another year, I started the update again, but now I get the message "Your navigation system has been updated..." and "No items available". On the start screen it keeps saying that newer versions are available but it doesn't install them. What is wrong?

    The problem was solved by a soft reset (engine off - remove SD card - wait 30 sec. - insert SD card - start engine). Learned something but not very user friendly.
