Unable to install system update Tom Tom GO 620

I have been trying to use your app to update my TomTom GO 620 for quite a while with no luck. The app is either always crashing, loosing its Internet connection, or insists there's no free space on the device. It says there are 59 updates needed (now), but most of those are for other languages or maps for other countries. I'm trying to install only the system update first, but can't get it working even on that.

    Try to update via wifi .
    The GPS connects to a mains charger.

    My Drive connect shows you all theoretical updates for your device.
    ALso updates of maps you do not have on the device.
    As Willi875 has already written. Only do the update via the device when it is connected to Wifi, otherwise your PC may download several GB of unnecessary data.
