6250 Micro usb charging issue

My TomTom 6250 is not charging properly from the micro USB port on the back of the device. Sometimes it will charge sometimes it will not. The port is now quite wobbly. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? It charges fine from the USB port on the window suction cup fine. It’s only the port directly in the back of the device

    if still in warranty ask customer care for replacement

    Afraid not….it’s 2.5 years old hence why I’m asking if there’s other options

    The other option is to send it in for repair for 105 €

    Or do the updates via wi-fi is is to have it loaded via support.
