Can I use a Standard Sandisk 16gb SDHC?

I have a Mazda CX-5 with no SD card at all when i bought it second hand. If I buy the Tom Tom Mazda NB1 package and download it to a Standard Sandisk 16gb SDHC will this work to add Navigation to my Mazda CX5? It currently has no Navigation at all. I am in Australia.
