I try to place the order but on the VAT number field I get this error "The VAT number is incorrect". I have checked several times but the number is correct. What can I do?

    The VAT number in the Italy consists of the country code IT followed by 11 characters , e.g. IT12345678901

    Thanks @Niall i insert my VAT number with the prefix "IT" but i receive the same error that the number is not valid. I don't know why and noone of TomTom assistance answer to me.
