I have to write that I am disappointed that after many years service my trusty Rider V1 is no longer supported. It was a very expensive item and like my Givi luggage i thought it would last the like of my motorcycle. However, with roads changing all the time and up-dates not possible it will become all but obsolete. I would of considered replacing it with a newer version but the discount that Tom Tom offered still meant that I could by one cheaper elsewhere, which i though was a bit of an insult. With the ability of modern phones now for the price of a phone holder I could have an very similar performing piece of equipment. Also please do not blame Covid for a lack of phone support because of working from home, the last time I check phones can work from peoples home addresses too just the same as computers.
