GO500 not connecting to MyDrive

I am trying to update my GO500 using MyDrive.
I have followed advice listed on TT sites. (Uninstalling drivers, changing USB cables, changing PCs both W10 and W11)
MyDrive recognises my account and knows which device it should be connected to, but reports no device connected.
Windows Device Manager> Network Adapters does not list a TT device.
Are there another ideas on how to get connection working please?

    try revo uninstaller for fresh installing mydrive connect

    Hi Fergussion,
    Thanks for the suggestion for Revo. I tried it and it did find some left over files which have now gone. But... after reinstalling Connect problem persists. My hunch now is that there may be firewall type blocks on the USB drivers if that is possible.

    With all the reinstalls that I have been doing I may have had the device connected during a Connect install. Does this cause damage and if so how is it rectified?

    Hi VL,
    I now have contact with TomTom Support.
    They are working their way through the questuins and ideas that the automated support gives.
    I am currently asing the question about if the problem lies with the device.
    When (if ?) I get the working solution I will share here.
