Tom Tom error traveling on Long Island Expressway

While traveling on NY LIE vehicle (2022 Subaru Outback) Tom Tom in vehicle navigation continually tells me to exit left to get on freeway, but I am on it. Stand-alone Garmin device and iPhone Google maps do not have this problem. I am told I am not alone...
