TomTom Start 45, item was not valid after installation, HELP, Please?

Hello,

During update, TomTom Home erased all the maps on my device. The GPS displays only "No maps found".
I've tried to redo the update and get "item was not valid after installation".
Any help would be kindly appreciated.

    It seems to me that Start 45 is no longer followed by Tomtom so Tomtom Home could not offer you an update.

    Look on your computer, you must have an old backup.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, there's no backup on the computer and the GPS is now bricked.
    I would just like to have the unit the way it was before.
    I cannot believe just an update can ruin the GPS.
    The pictures included below seems to indicate there is a update.
    Can someone from the TomTom company offer a solution?

    A different map version has been activated on your TomTom, check for updates in TomTom HOME.

    Hello VikramK,

    I updated to the map you activated "USA map" but I can't seem to find the "CANADA map"
    While the GPS "works", it displays an empty area because I'm located in Canada.
    I updated to USA then tried to update again to North America Map for Canada but still failed...
    error: "item was not valid after installation: North_America_2GB"
    Would there be a standalone "CANADA map"?

    We don't have a standalone map of Canada.
    However, a different map activated now should allow you to download USA with Canada.
