So I have a paid subscription for the main TomTom Go app, but find the camera and traffic alerts disappointing, so I performed a test at the weekend and found that if you also run AmiGo you can get the decent alerts (ie camera in 600 yds, 500 yds, etc and your speed through average speed check was 55 mph) while still using the main TomTom Go for routing.

I just wish they provided the alerts you get in AmiGo in the main product as they are 100 times better.
