No maps on TomTom XXL

I have an old XXL that can't detect any maps in TomTom Home. After attempted update, it lost the current maps as well. Now when trying to reinstall the backup, I get an error saying "Item is not valid after installation: Western_Europe"

    Is there enough space on the laptop/desktop hard drive for TomTom HOME to download updates?

    Hi, there's plenty of space on both the PC and the GPS.

    Okay I ended up getting through by spamming ESC after clicking the link before it redirects.
