I found an old TomTom ease at home, and trying to get back on its feet. I discover that I can´t even restore to factory default. I can´t access the menu on the device neither the TomTom Home app is responsive.
Should I toss it back at the bottom of a box in my garage or there is any way to make it work?
Thanks for any response

    What model do you have?

if it is an old GPS it must have been declared obsolete by Tomtom so it is no longer possible to make updates.

    Hi Willy875,
    Thanks for your reply.
    It´s model 1EX00.
I realized that it´s lost support, but if I get to just work, even with an old map, I really don't mind...

    Thanks

    Hi

If the GPS has been in a drawer for several years, the battery needs to be drained, so the first thing to do is connect it to a charger and see if the GPS turns on.

Yeah, I did charge it. But, the system is corrupted because it's just say "No maps found..." and I can even enter the settings area to restore to factory default, or something like that.
    Somebody messed up this thing...
