No reaction when I insert SD-card into computer when trying to update my navigation system.

I have a Mazda integrated navigation with TomTom NVA-SD8110 LIVE with the original sd-card NVA-SD8110EU C890-V6-601 of which I want to update the outdated map data via the computer.
After installing and upgrading the TomTom HOME I ended up with version 2.21.
So when I make the choice "Update my navigation system" and get the message to place the memory card in the card reader, nothing happens if I have done that.
While my computer (Windows 10) does recognize the memory card and the file manager shows the contents of the SD card.
What should I do for the application to recognize the memory card?
