Rider 550 stalled update, now wont work or connect to PC or my drive

I have a Rider 550 and it went to do updates and stalled(all night) doing them on 8%. then went to power on and it just says to connect to PC screen but my PC doesnt recognise it when it is connected. Went to nextwork connections and the Tom tom interface isnt even there. My drive connect on MAC says Rider not connected.

    send it for replacement by contacting customer care

    There have been no phone lines to Customer Support since the start of Covid and many working from home and no indication that the facility will return.

    Try the following tomorrow to use Chat during Normal Working Hours :-

    Tap Support at the top of this page
    You then HAVE to Sign in Top Right of next Page. (you have to do this even although your were sit=gned in on the forum.)
    When signed in, and not before, Tap Contact Us bottom right
    Support Box appears and at the bottom with a message option
    Type Contact or Chat in the box
    If Chat is available you should be offered the chance to Tap Live Chat
    If it is Out of Hours for Chat you should be offered an option to message but I suggest you concentrate on Chat.

    If it does not work exactly as described then try another Web Browser.
