How to reconnect to my account

I changed my log-in e-mail address on my account, but my Go Essential sat nav was still showing the old e-mail address and with no option to sign out and sign in using the new e-mail address, so I deleted the device from my MyDrive account, assuming that it would be straightforward to log in again from scratch, but the sat nav still only shows the account with the old e-mail address and logging in to my account show no devices. How can I rectify this situation?

    Hi @BrianE

    You have to do a Factory Rest so that when you set the unit up you can now input the new account.

    Menu/Settings/System/Reset Device.

    You will lose all the data related to the old account.

    Thanks Doug. I've just finished doing that as I got fed up of waiting for TomTom's chat to respond to my message, even though I was number 1 in the queue. It was a bit of a pain as I had almost finished setting up my new device, but at least restoring my saved places from MyDrive was then automatic.
