I have a PoiPlaza rail crossing OV2 file database, if I copy it, why does it just show and not sound on my GO 6 Classic?

Further Info maybe Useful....
Displaying Personal POIs on the Driving View/Map
Be aware... You can't install the POI associated .BMP files
You can only use the 5 Tomtom supplied generic Icons....

Yes I mean I can't install the BMP files, I only have the five icons but can't I add sound in any way?

You cannot add a sound to denote you are near a POI like you could on some of the very old models..

It is also not possible to add a sound file to be alerted on new devices.

POI approach 'Warning sounds' are not available on the NAV4 and later devices....
