Incorrect Mapshare in my street

We had flooding recently which caused sinkholes and mudslides in our area. One of the sinkholes was in a short section just east of our home so I submitted a mapshare to indicate the road closure.

A few days ago I noticed that someone else had submitted a similar mapshare, but for a much longer section of our street, which extended past our home and which is incorrect.

The result is that I can no longer navigate to Home. As a temporary workaround I have since created a fake Home POI just before the incorrect road closure.

I submitted a deletion of the incorrect road closure two days ago and it has been accepted but it still appears on the map.

How long will it take to be removed ?

    Normally you have to wait 6 to 9 months on average before the card is corrected.

    Well, who would have thought? I’ve just checked and the incorrect road closure has been removed.
