My device is not getting recognised.

Hi,
I bought a device from someone today. I want to update my device using my laptop. I have downloaded mydrive on my laptop by it doesn't recognise my device. Also, how can I change my TOM TOM account details on the device? It still shows the email id of the pervious owner.

    Ask the previous owner to delete their GPS on Mydrive connect.


    how can I change my TOM TOM account details on the device? It still shows the previous owner's email id.

    Factory reset the device.

    He has now deleted the device from his account. I have done the factory reset on the device. But still MY drive connect won't find my device.

    You have created a new Tomtom account to register the device to the account.

    If the GPS is still not recognized, try with another cable.

    Yes I have my old account which I have now logged in on this device. No devices are configured on this account. I don't have another cable. When I connect the cable with latop it says connected to your computer.

    If your GPS is connected with the green tick, there should be no problem.
    Can you take a screenshot of your GPS connection to Mydrive connect.
