Can you change alert beeps (like overspeed)

in TomTom GO Navigation app for Android™
One of my gripes, is the overspeed alert is 3 big beeps.
Any way to change to to just a single subtle beep? there are times I'm, err, happy to speed, or indeed the map speed limit is wrong, but getting 3 annoying beeps is overkill. Just a single ping would be nice.
Possible?

    Unfortunately no, not possible yet to change the defined sound for alerts. See this earlier thread by Flanimal.

    Ah yes, thanks. That was a year ago - it was logged under GONAV-3304
    Is that in the pipeline or has it been rejected? Can't imagine it being a difficult code change?
