Hello, I am the owner of a GO Expert 7 and use this device in Europe to drive a truck with a semi-trailer.
Forgive me to help solve my problem with TomTom, namely, my navigation terribly lays routes, as on any of my paths it sees closed roads, despite the fact that it is connected to the network (wifi), a day passes and closed roads do not open. Routes of 50-60 km duration with my TomTom are 110+ and routes of 800 km + for 1100+ km
On the A13 Austria - Italia route, the Brennero border for TomTom is always closed, for which you have to manually build a route with intermediate points, working with such a navigator is disgusting.

I hope the problem is purely in my device, and they will help me, because I would not like to return the device, and shares his experience with GO Expert in the media (YouTube)

If a factory reset does not fix this then ask tomtom for a replacement unit0 -

Thanks friends. It's not a problem for me, I know the way! It is a pity that something that costs so much money makes such elementary mistakes. Overall, I'm very disappointed with TomTom.0

Thanks. I have a Garmin Camper unit as well as TT ones. The Garmin for 2 years used to direct me past a turning then through a single track in front of a parade of shops then took me back to the turning it had told mr to drive past. Garmin eventually sorted it by still driving past the junction which it had ultimately directed me to take before and now takes a totally different route that is at least 4 miles further. Thess problems happen on all devices I think you will find.
