Hello,

I have a problem with my build in Carminat TomTom LIVE on my 2012 Renault Scenic.
There is only hourglass displayed on the screen. (with SD card or without SD card).
The only solution for this moment is to change the display unit.
How can I run my old maps (saved on SD card)on this new device?

Thank you for support.

BR

    Hi @Mateusz_M
    Welcome to the community!
Before you change the display unit, could you try a clean format and reinstallation of the application and maps?

    Steps below-

    Hi Vikram,

    Thank you for information.
    I will try your solution.
There will be a problem with reinitializing the card, because TomTom does not start at all.
Each time I start the navigation I see the hourglass only then reset and hourglass again.
    reinitalizing

    I tried the clean reinstallation.
    I went through all steps.
Carminat created a loopdir directory on empty SD card.
I mooved the card from Carminat to computer.
I downloaded all maps with TomTom Home and installed them on card.
When I inserted card into Carminat nothing has changed.
Hourglass and reboot, hourglass and reboot…

    Thanks, Mateusz
This does seem to be an issue that's related to the hardware.
I would recommend checking this with the car dealer.

Also, it's important to ask if the replacement unit comes with preinstalled maps along with a SD card.

    Regards,
    Vikram

Dealer told me that there will be no card with the new display.
They suggested to contact TomTom to switch the serial numbers on my TomTome Home account.
In this case I should have access to all maps from previous device.
Can you do it like this?

    Hi Vikram,
I have just changed the device connected to my account.
When I try to copy the maps from computer to SD card, there is an information that „This item dorsn’t work on this device so it can not be installed.”
Can you help me on this?
    Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your help Vikram.
I have just updated map via TT Home.
The last version of Europe map that I had on my device was 1050.10176 (device ID: IBxxxxxxx48)
    This one is 920.5241.
Is there a chance to upgrade map to 1050?

    Thank you very much Vikram.
    Everything is working perfectly.
Just like it was before the screen exchange.
