I have a new tomtom start 42 and I can't get it to work

Hello, I am new to this world of browsers, I have a new star42 tomtom and I am not able to make it work. I have registered in tomtom and in my drice connect and I have also updated maps.
1- But in the browser a cloud appears with an x (I think it has no coverage and where I live if there is)
2- On the my drive connect website it asks me for an activation code that I don't know what it is!! the model is serial no. XT2148I04670.
3- The time in the browser goes wrong, how is it updated?
4- The touch screen is slow and wrong, what can I do?
please help me because i need it to travel next week

For your GPS to connect to the satellite, is the updated time
turn on your GPS Outside in a clear place towards the sky no trees no tall buildings wait at least 30/40 minutes.0 -
