Update TOMTOM VIA with a Chromebook

Hi,

Does anyone know here how and if its possible to update my "TOMTOM VIA" with My Drive Connect using a new Chromebook device?
I'm looking forward to the replies and hope someone knows how.

    Mydrive connect is only developed for Windows OS and Mac Os not compatible with a Chromebook.

    Thats what i read everywhere but is that still up to date?
    Maybe TOMTOM is working on developing an extension(of some kind) that can be installed on an Chromebook,
    so My Drive Connect could work.

    What s your opinion?
    Is it possible TomTom is developing such an extension of some kind?
    Who would know this for certain?
