TomTom free lifetime map updates

TomTom is trying to charge me when I try to updates my maps. I believe I have free lifetime map updates though. Any tips please, thanks.

    There should be no charges for map updates for your GO Expert. Could you share a picture/screenshot where you get the message for charges?

    Thanks, Arron, that explains a lot.
    I think the website flow needs some fixing.

    The GO Discover comes with NDS map updates, so a subscription model does not apply here.
    Please ignore the website message, the weekly and the monthly downloads should get offered as usual when there is a new update.

    I am having the exact same issue with my Rider 550. How to I access my free lifetime updates?

    Welcome to the community!
    Your RIDER already has an active service for world map updates. Also, you have the latest map version installed- 10.85.

    The next quarterly map update will be released in May 2022.
