Casting to car screen

Does anyone know if I can cast the new TomTom app on a Pixel4a phone to my 2012 Volvo S80 screen? or is it too old? I use a Go Premium X which I'm more than happy with but putting it on the car screen would be even better. I suppose I could download and try it but I'm reluctant to load more than I need to a new phone: Unistallaing always seems to leave odd bits behind and gradually slow things down.

    That car has no Android Auto as a built in feature.

    The only one chance is to replace the built in radio by a Android based model.
    But be absolutely carefully by sorting out the right Android Car Radio.
    Not all ACR are able to play with TT in a fully range of functions.

    Thank you for taking the time to reply. It is what I thought and I'll carry on with my TT on a brodit dash mount. The live traffic on TT has saved me so many missed ferries & flights over the years I wouldn't be without it.

    Have fun with Your VOLVO.
    In very old times I had a V70, 13 years running through whole of Europe, 895.000 km all.
    Never used the CD-based built-in Nav.

    But different Smartfones running TT were always active.
    TT's RouteBar and Live Traffic --- I love it :smile:
