My device will not connect to traffic despite having lifetime subscription via built in SIM

Hi, I have just bought a renewed TomTom Go Premium from Halfords with lifetime traffic and cameras via built in SIM. The camera warnings work and the traffic shows as activated but doesn’t work. It show service unavailable. I have done all the trouble shooting steps I can find including several factory resets. GPRS is connecting. I have also tried connecting to my mobile but the traffic still doesn’t work. Any ideas please

    Look back here tomorrow to see what @VikramK or @lampard have to say after they have checked your units settings on the TT servers.

    The services for TomTom Traffic were not activated yet, my team has fixed that.
    Just do a soft reset and check again...
