Why are Tom Toms Navigation devices no longer for sale in Australian shops?

Why are Tom Toms Navigation devices no longer for sale in Australian shops? Tried to buy from Tom Tom website but clicked to place order after entering payment details and get error message order placed but something went wrong unable to process payment, tried different browsers, clearing the history and cookies and different payment types but still error.

    I am not sure what could be the reason here, did you look at retails outlets or online stores?

    When exactly did you try placing the order?
    Could be a temporary issue.
    If you see the same error again, then I would advise reporting it to our customer service team.
