Cannot connect device with PC- TomTom MyDrive Connect

Hi all, I cannot connect my device with my PC. Device is 100 % loaded. MyDrive Connect is re-installed to exclude driver problems. When I plug in device and hold the reset key, nothing happens. Restarting PC also did not show any effect. What else can I do?

When I try to go to link it flashes up briefly then goes to TT discussions page. MyDrive (on Surface Pro 7) cannot see my Go6100 but now TT website wont even show my a related link. Help anyone I have one week to fix this before a very important trip overseas. Last time I updated (2019) all worked fine but previously every update was fraught with problems, have we gone back to TT's bad old days?0
