Hi everyone. My phone is Xiaomi Redmi 8A. It has 32 GB memory, and app tomtom on it works normally ok. But when i receive message that space is running out in my phone, I bought sd card with 128 gb. I mount it in phone as internal memmory extend. After reinstalling tomtom its starts i see intro and screen that tomtom is downloading its data and will start shows. after few seconds app is closing. Ive noticed that when i install sd card as external memmory app is working but i cant move app to sd card.
Anyone knows why it not working with sd as internal memmory

So there is no option to make it working on external card. My phone is out of memmory.

Application should work OK if the SD card is configured as an external memory and not extension to internal phone memory.
Our app will download maps to external SD card if the SD card has more free storage than internal memory of the phone.
Redmi 8A has 32 GB of internal storage, it should be enough to keep application files in internal memory, and map files in external storage.0 -
Thanks for Your reply, but unfortunatelly in this phone app is not installing mapps in external memmory even if its empty (128 gb). All is installed in internal memmory and when I went to app setting > memmory there is no option move to external sd memmory.
For now I solve the problem by installing tomtom in internal memmory with only app data one map and voice. Then I put fresh card to phone format it as internal memmory, then choose to move data to new memmory, and after that download rest of maps needed by me to tomtom. After that its working.
If anybody will try to do the same way I must also say that after installing each app before start it i notice its good to restart phone and wait while because its take few seconds to find card formated as internal memmory. If it will not find it pull out card and put it again schould help.
Also I find over the web info that Xiaomi blocked moving aps to sd card in android. So for now i cant do nothing more. As i remember earlier tomtom asked where to instal downloaded maps. But as I said all the apps are installing in internal memmory so 32 gb is to less.
