My tomtom expert freezes then turns itself of then comes back on after about 20 seconds,

    Could you try Stopping MyDrive Syncing on the Go Expert and see if that stops it restarting. The unit should work normally without MyDrive Syncing except you cannot send Destinations etc unless you sign in

    Il give that a try and see how it goes, but what I also don't understand is why do you have to tether the device to your mobile phone? When you upgrade any device it should be better than its previous device, yet the old device, there was no need to tether.

    Hi @Nffc2047

    You have to use your Phone with the Expert as the TT unit does not have an inbuilt Mobile Sim like the GO6250 so is like the GO620 Professional.
