SMART 453 Media system "NO MAPS FOUND"

Hello
I have Smart ForFour using inDash Navigation and have used the Smart Media Connect to update.
It did show there is an update, however, after doing the update, and putting the SD card back in the car, it said Update failed.

I have got the SD card back into the computer and all it says it is uptodate, However, there is an icon for MAP to be installed and when I click it says there is no space
SD card is an 8GB card but reports 323MB free, however, SmartMedia reports Device free = 1302 and Card = 590MB

Can you kindly help me out as I'm without the maps

    Welcome to the community! A map has been activated on your TomTom account, could you check for updates and see if you are able to download this version?

    Hi Vikram,

    many thanks for the reply but I am still unable to download the maps available. 8gb SD card reads: used 449.94MB - free 336KB

    Please help.
