Not the case sadly. I have a Tomtom with life time updates, allegedly, but I'm forced to buy them if I want them.
This means that I'll just have to start to using Google now. It uses my battery and data but is "free" and always up to date.
It's a sad loss because I relied on Tomtom when I was out of the country. It was a stand alone, ultra reliable and accurate device.

I see the subscription for map update service on your TomTom (serial number ending 532) is active.
What items do you see under My Content tab in MyDrive Connect, available for download.
