Loose connection on click and go mount

I have a GO5200 with a click and go mount and charger which I have had for several years. The device is fantastic but the charge connection into the mount is now very loose and it no longer charges unless you hold it in a very awkward position, which means that the device is useless on long drives once the battery has run down. The mount and charger are no longer available, so getting a new one is not an option. Any ideas anyone please?
