Blue and Me is frozen on 'keep your device connected!'

After updating maps and QuickGPSfix my Blue and Me has 'Keep your device connected!' on the screen and it's locked, I cant turn it off, nothing works, do I just let the battery go flat and hope for the best?

    Welcome to the community!
    Did you manage to finish the update?
    I suppose this could be related to an antivirus or a firewall blocking the installation.
    Could you check if they are configured to allow TomTom MyDrive Connect downloads/updates?

    Hi Vikram
    On the Mydrive Connect screen and Sat Nav it said the updates were complete. The unit was working perfectly before I updated, it was just the maps were out of date.
    I've just looked and it still has the same on the screen, it's now 10 hrs later!
