Removal of expired speed camera alerts

I have a GO 5000 with lifetime updates which includes speed cameras, in the email I received from TomTom which said my new update was ready it also mentioned removal of expired speed camera alerts! Not sure whether this now means my life time updates for speed camera alerts with this Tom Tom is over?

The Go 5000 never had the Lifetime Speed Cameras.

The functionality of TomTom models has changed, speed camera services are linked to a subscription. When a speed camera subscription expires, the TomTom device stops issuing alerts.

Hi, thank you for your reply, my TomTom is the GO 5100 and not the 5000 as I first thought, and I’ve never paid any subscription as when I got it it did come with a lifetime speed camera alerts along with map updates which is what persuaded me to purchase!
I do apologise but I have since been able to contact customer services and they have managed to resolve the problem and confirm that I still do get speed camera alerts as per the lifetime updates. Thank you for your response though.
