Map Update for Subaru XV

I have a 2018 Subaru XV which I would like to update maps. Their is a new map provided by Subaru map download app which I have downloaded to usb but it requires an Activation Code to install. The Activation Code is supposed to be available from Subaru map download website by entering a Request Code. Unfortunately my subscription has expired and I can not enter a request code to get activation code nor can I buy a subscription from Subaru. Can I buy a new subscription direct from tomtom and get activation code?
